Herding pattern among Bronze Age steppe communities: An ethnographic approach to mapping pasture in the Southeastern Ural Mountains, Russia

Recent ethnographic data can assist with the examination of Bronze Age pastoralist herding patterns, however, there are still missing links between archeological record and available from Southeastern Ural Mountains regions. One way to explore answer this question is use archaeobotanical understand pattern in prehistory, which many ways act as a bridge subsistence economy plant exploitation strategy microenvironment. Compared previous research, study was undertaken through field research based on analysis results recovered Stepnoye settlement. The sampling associated excavation settlement indicated significant local wild resource for humans livestock.
